COMPUTATIONAL Communication SCIENTIST

Exploring Digital Dynamics: Society, Power, and Participation

My research focuses on understanding the intricate relationships between digital media, social behavior, and political systems. I employ computational social science methods to study collective action, political participation, and polarization, leveraging tools from network analysis and data mining.

A significant aspect of my current work is my involvement in the PRIN project, "Digital Sovereignty in Comparative Perspective," where we examine the complex interplay between state authority, corporate power, and fundamental rights in cyberspace.

I am an Assistant Professor at Ondokuz Mayıs University's School of Communication, and I have held visiting positions at the University of Pennsylvania (DiMeNet Lab) and New York University (SMaPP Lab), as well as teaching experience at Woosong University in South Korea.
